This may have been our last local ski trip this season. It was my first trip to Whitetail and Eva's second. Will decided to stay home. We missed him skiing, but it was nice to have the time to ski alone with Eva. The snow was quite good, and I liked the mountain, but we had one annoying problem. The chairs on the lifts are closer together than we are accustomed to, which means you have to be really quick to get on the chair. Since Eva is short, and she was bundled up I practically had to throw her onto the chair. I am sure that they do this to get more people up the mountain, but the net result is that they have to stop or slow the lift all the time, and I don't think it ends up being faster, just more dangerous.
